I’ve heard great things about using aloe to treat eczema so I decided to try it out. The product is great, although it does have a smell to it but you get used to it after a while. I used it for a rash I had and after a few weeks it was almost gone.

This is one of my favorite products. I have been using Real Aloe aloe vera products since the mid 70’s when the owner used to make the rounds to health food stores in California from the aloe farms in Texas. We had a natural food store and bakery at the time in South Lake Tahoe. I can remember burning my hand on a hot bread pan and applying aloe vera gel to the spot 3 times in a hour and how the red spot stopped hurting shortly thereafter. This Gelly product is really great on burns. But surprisingly, it also works as a gentle hair gel. No scent and it provides just enough firmness to prevent wild hair syndrom. The related aloe vera juice (not this product!) works wonders for most stomach ailments such as acid stomach. Aloe vera works on burns, both inside and out. In summary, this is a great product from a good company that has stood the test of time.

I have tried another Aloe Vera product like this one by a famous company and that item was twice the price, this product was purchased to use on my face as I get shaving rash when I use my electric shaver, used it yesterday for the first time and as usual had shaved too close and my skin was sore, wow impressed! it was very soothing I used a little cold water on my skin to moisten then wiped on the Aloe Vera using my finger and my skin did look really healthy, I am over 60 years of age and I think my skin is getting thinner.
I have tried the usual brands of moisturizer in the chemist to moisturize my skin they are do work but don’t really deal with the soreness, I think the Aloe is better, watch out for the hole in the cap it it too big and the product is runny so you need to take care.
Never thought as a heterosexual male I would leave a review like this but really fed up with shaving rash and sore skin so have taken a tip from the ladies when it comes to skin care.

I didn’t believe the internet when it said to use this on curly hair, in place of other styling products. I’m spending hundreds of dollars a year on DevaCurl stuff so I figured even if it didn’t work well in my hair, I could use it on my skin. Honestly, it curls my hair better than the $50 styling creams and it’s sooooo much cheaper. It also seems to make it dry faster.
I still have my DevaCurl stuff but this is definitely in the rotation for the foreseeable future.

I purchased this aloe vera because of its clean ingredient list. It feels really nice on my skin and it came with a lot of product (8oz). My only complaint is that it does flake off a bit (I have found that most natural aloe vera gels do). The product is also vegetarian and not tested on animals which I really appreciate. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product.
