I initially bought this when we are all coming diwn with colds. My cold was stopped in its tracks and better in 2 days.
I did do some more research on other uses for elderberry and read on multiple reliable sources that it helps relax muscles and reduces inflammation.
I have to say my back and headaches are much less as is the tightness in my neck and shoulders that caused the pain.
It tastes, to me, like slightly concentrated grape juice. Sweet with a little bitter/sour, but not bad.
The 4 oz bottle contains 12 , 2 tsp doses. So only 3-5 days if taken as directed.
Not meant to be taken long term, but neither are most medications.

I will be ordering more for sure and ordering a larger bottle.

I normally use the Gaia organic brand, but needed some more in a pinch and ordered this. Compared to the Gaia brand it is much thinner, you are required to take twice the dose (2 tsp vs 1 tsp) and its MUCH sweeter. While it is organic, its sweetened with Agave, which is pure sugar. I tried it two nights in a row and I just cant use it. And its not eligible for return, so Im stuck with 2 boxes of this crap:(

Ordered a second bottle as a replacement only to discover the same issue. As soon as I uncapped it, I heard a loud explosion (popping). My mom (albeit jokingly) yelled I’m bleeding, and sure enough she was dripping elderberry syrup. She told me this happened to her first bottle which is why the company sent a replacement. She waited for me to open this one, and the same thing happened. The bottom doesn’t sit properly on the shelf due to the gas buildup I presume. It’s obviously an inconvenience since we ordered it to ward off a summer cold. Last winter I purchased a bottle for myself and my sister and they were okay. I don’t know what’s going on lately but I’ll be purchasing a different brand in the future.

Whether or not this is effective, it is so loaded with agave (which some say is no better that high fructose corn syrup when it breaks down in your body), that unless you have a very sweet tooth, this is not for you. I have tried other sambucus products that weren’t this sickly tasting and work well. If buying it for young kids or if you love ultra-sweet, this may be for you

確かに欲しい商品でしたが、いくらアメリカからの直送品と言っても値段が高すぎます。
普通はこの値段でもう一回りかふた周り大きいサイズのボトルのはずです。

I opened the bottle this morning and was completely startled by an ear shattering POP, I then notice that the bottom of the bottle was completely rounded instead of concave and it smelled like vinegar. The second bottle is the same batch number and did/looks the same. I will be returning this batch! I am waiting for Natures Way customer service to open in 30 minutes to I can let them know. Usually this is a great product.. Batch# 20102475 exp 11/20/20
