As much as I love this lotion, I had to give this recent purchase a single star. Product management is so important and as a brand, precision as well is key.
I really do believe that the batch I received was mixed in with another lotion and it is so obvious! My first purchase was great but not this time around.
As you see in the photos, there is a warm/ yellow tint within the second bottle. This makes me question the authenticity of this product. Plus, not only is the color different but so is the scent. The fragrance is almost non-existent. Great. What did I just buy?!
So disappointed.

I’ve used this lotion before and by FAR the best I’ve ever used! It heals quickly, smells good without being overbearing and best of all, NOT greasy. Great price, it’s at least a few dollars cheaper than most other vendors. Lasts a long time, I try never to be out of this lotion-it’s that good.

Let me preface this by saying that I’ve never had a reaction to any lotion before. I’m not a person with sensitive skin. The only time I had to be cautious with lotion was with my tattoo.
I used this lotion twice at work with no problem. I love the smell of this, so I decided to get a bottle. First day was fine but then I noticed that I was itchy where I applied the lotion. It kicked in when I got to work so I thought maybe I was having a reaction to something on my lab coat. I used it again today not knowing it was the lotion and had a bad reaction. I swelled and broke out in hives all over my arms and hands. I did some research and found out that there are several ingredients that definitely aren’t natural as the lotion would lead you to believe. There are about 8 of the 35 ingredients that are pretty nasty. Still love the smell but am definitely not using this again. Considering how the reaction rapidly increased with each use (I used it for three days only) I don’t want to know what the next step of the reaction would be.
Just be aware of any protential allergic reactions from this.

I’ve been looking for a vegan, cruelty-free body lotion for a while so I bought this. However, the scent is SO INCREDIBLY STRONG, it’s so off-putting. It kind of smells like very strong bubble gum. I tried it one time on my arms to see if maybe the scent would go away but no, hours later it was still there. It’s such an overwhelming smell, it gave me a headache. I wish they described the strength of the scent more clearly in the product description. I didn’t return it in time so I just ended up throwing it away. If you’re looking for an UNSCENTED, vegan, cruelty-free lotion, try Whole Foods, they have a few and you can also use your Amazon cc there. There’s a brand called Aliffa that’s great and less expensive than this one.

Hempz Original Herbal Body Moisturizer, 17 Fluid Ounce
This has been my favorite beauty product find. After spending 5 years in Florida playing volleyball on the beach 4 days a week I had sun damage on my forehead even with using sunblock and spf 100. This lotion has done wonders for taking sun damage away. Also, I noticed my skin is softer than silk. I have used Vaseline lotion, and Victoria’s Secret products for years. Hempz is by far the best product for skin care on the market. Original is my favorite with a clean sweet smell, but there are many other fragrances to suit your moods! Not overly greasy and absorbs into skin very easily. I always get compliments that I am glowing after each time I apply this lotion.
