Simple: This product contains a harmful chemical that cause birth defects and reproductive problems. I’m looking for another product.

On the back of this back, it says “This product contains a chemical known to the state of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.”
Neither Spirulina nor Chlorella are known “to cause birth defects or reproductive harm.”
After emailing Sun food and reviewing the materials they sent, I’m going to assume that the product is safe for consumption. But dang! If only they’d just created a package for non-California states. You know, without the warning. I’d have been none the wiser.
